SILENT UTTERANCES

Opening 9th August at 1.30pm Jane Tyack's latest works.  The exhibition will be opened by Carol Endean Little, all are welcome.

SILENT UTTERANCES
In making the works for this show, Jane has incorporated unwanted, broken musical instruments.  Music is wonderfully universal, and in these works she has endeavoured to translate the idea of music into beautiful visual objects that don’t necessarily have a voice.

Jane sees these artworks as not unlike ourselves. We each of us are eccentric in our own way, which defines our uniqueness.

"TWISTED RIVER OPENING GOES ON INTO THE NIGHT"

The new cellar door for Twisted River was opened by Andrew Hopkins, General Manager at Cabonne.  We were lucky to also have our Mayor Ian Gosper and many friends and wine lovers join for the afternoon celebration.

This was followed by a fun night of music from the "Acoustic Trio", good wine and Jayes famous woodfired pizza.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW CURATOR

The gallery is pleased to announce that Hugh Oldham is taking over again after a break of 4 years as Curator, although he has always been in the background as our intrepid climber of ladders and setting up sculptures.  When not curating Hugh can often be seen on the race track with his precious Rizzo Riley in Historic Racing.
Our  wonderful curator Joy Engelman is leaving us to again concentrate on her arts career and will be having a solo at the gallery opening on 19th July this year.  Joy has been a great addition to the team for the last few years and has helped bring the gallery to its current standard.  We thank her for all her efforts.

"CHRISTMAS WISHES"

Well another year draws to a close and what a year this has been.  The gallery has been recognised for its efforts in promoting the talent that abounds here in the Central West NSW and we are looking forward to 2013 with some wonderful exhibitions and events.

We are taking a break over Christmas from the 20th December until we relaunch with lots of new and exciting things on the 23rd January, 2013.

May we take this opportunity to wish all our wonderful Collectors, Artists and friends a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again at the gallery in 2013.

Best wishes,

Libby Oldham
