SILENT UTTERANCES
In making the works for this show, Jane has incorporated unwanted,
broken musical instruments. Music is wonderfully
universal, and in these works she has endeavoured to translate the idea of music
into beautiful visual objects that don’t necessarily have a voice.
Jane sees these artworks as not unlike ourselves. We each
of us are eccentric in our own way, which defines our uniqueness.
